Jawaharlal Aviation Institute Hosts Induction Ceremony for AME Batch 2026-27
The Jawaharlal Aviation Institute (JAI), under the Nehru Group of Institutions, successfully conducted the Induction Ceremony for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Batch 2026 - 27 at Shastra Hall on July 15, 2026. The programme warmly welcomed the new batch of aspiring aviation professionals in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, students, and parents.
Shri K. Prabhakaran, Training Manager, JAI, delivered the welcome address.
The Induction ceremony was Inaugurated by Mr. Pravin Kumar Moolya, General Manager (Engineering), Star Air, Bengaluru, who inspired the students by highlighting the immense opportunities and responsibilities in the aviation sector.
The function was presided over by Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Chancellor, PK Das Deemed to be University, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India, and Chairman & Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. P. Krishnakumar, Pro-Chancellor, PK Das Deemed to be University and CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions.
During the programme, students who had successfully cleared the DGCA Modules were felicitated. Dr. N. Gunasekaran, Principal, JCET, offered their felicitations and extended their best wishes to the new batch.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. C. Premanandan, Instructor, JAI, followed by the National Anthem. The induction ceremony marked the beginning of a promising academic journey for the incoming AME students.
